Newcastle Maitland Club ventured to 2GO Family Day at Wyong Gallop meeting in what was a fantastic day of entertainment with mini trotters playing staring role.
Ex jockeys participating in a Celebrity event was a highlight of the day. Not really sure of official result but Malcom Johnston claimed victory on Jamacianmecrazy, over Chase em Ace for Tracey Bartlett.
However it does appear that Miracle Mal may receive his 57th suspension for excessive galloping.
Little Squirt- Sally Gemenis,Major Jiba- Stephen "Beaver" Schofield and Your Kiddin Me - Allan Keo filled the minor placing.
Club members event on the grass track was taken out by Major Jiba driven by Isabella Cassar from Chase Em Ace- Brody Cassar with Harpers Turbonator - Joshua Cassar finishing 3rd to round out the trifecta for Team Cassar.
Ultimate Jazz- Emme Formosa,Little Squit - Harrison Wiggins.Jamacianmecrazy- Chloe Formosa and Your Kiddin Me- Rowan Wiggins rounded out the field.
