Rain on the night reduced the night to only two events being held, with drizzly rain and track conditions, officials decided it was it best interest of welfare not to hold any more events.
It was a successful night for Wiggins Racing Team with Harrison Wiggins driving Little Squirt proving too strong for stablemate Yourkiddinme with his brother Rowan aboard and to round out the trifecta youngest member of the family Ashton come in third on Smokey Bear.
Second event Rowan was able to reverse the placing with Yourkiddinme coming home late to defeat Harrison (Little Squirt) with newcomer Mia McMillian showing no pressure running a nice third on It’s All Black Magic.
Buttercup was well driven by Will Ilsley leading most of the in both event but just finding the Newcastle Straight a little too long but look for him to be winning soon.
Another to be up the front runners during the night was Clare Carroll’s pony Little Lucy who is improving each outing and not that far away from winning.
Obviously the track conditions on the night did not suit the back makers who struggle to get in the contests on the night. Former NSW Champion Yogi Bear was running home hard in both events and Tyler Miles reports she will be better for the run next week after a long break. DoubleoSeven again showed he will be a threat in coming weeks with eye-catching finishes for Grace Campbell.
Sexyniknowit for Trainer/Driver Zac Carroll found condition not to his liking however it has been a big week for Zac with all the training commitments at home as shown her in the jog car.
