Newcastle Maitland Mini Trots Conducts Its First Race Meeting Of The Season

First Race meeting back last night for new season at Newcastle Paceway, also seen the return of the track Plovers looking out track officials to swoop 😂

The night went off well with small field of 7 ponies.

Race 1

we had our last season horse of the year combination Arabella and Will Ilsley come away with a Win, followed by Major Jiba - Amity Cassar 2nd, And Be Good Humphrey Sophie Swanbrough 3rd.

Race 2

The On Fire Team Arabella - Will Ilsley came away with a race 2 win, followed by a new racing combination Cross Em Boss - Brody Cassar 2nd, And Black Snow - Olivia Moy 3rd

Race 3

After hiccup in the first race and missing it then following up with 2 great races seen Black Snow - Olivia Moy come away with a win , followed by the consistent Major Jiba - Amity Cassar 2nd and another pony that was consistent last night - Be Good Humphrey- Sophie Swanbrough 3rd.

Overall point winning Score for the night , was close and also had to go to count back to determine winners

1st- Arabella - Will Ilsley

2nd- Major Jiba - Amity Cassar

3rd- Black Snow - Olivia Moy
