New Mait Gala Day

Following the cancellation of a meetings over the last few weeks due to heat and storms Newcastle Maitland Club finally hit the track with a Gala Day at Cessnock Showground. Was great little day with 3 drivers taking to the track for their first outing and 2 very promising qualifier horses who also did great. Racing was very competitive as members start to step up for the NSW Championships at Tamworth.

Well done all drivers and horses on the day.

Busy times ahead with Cessnock Show and Newcastle Harness next weekend. Club also wish those invited to Club Menangle for the Mini Miracle Mobile all the best and hope you enjoy the experience.

Finally news has filtered through that Platts Astbury has completed his qualification and heading to Tamworth. Congratulations Legend.
